Chino Hills State Park Llama Trek Saturday May 19, 2007 Chino Hills State Park Trek Report 5/20/07
We are getting phone calls from llama lovers who have accessed the LASC website and are interested in our treks. 6 non members joined us and we had a most beautiful morning with our favorite companions, llamas and our new llama friends. Eileen invited her friends Mark and Samantha, and I invited 4 USC Students, Ben Paul (Philosophy and Psychology), Cecelia Webber (Neuroscience), Jose Chen from Taiwan (researching LA River Master Plan, naturalization of the Los Angeles River) and John left early before I wrote down his last name( Cinematography).
The weather was cool and pleasant, the flowers were blooming everywhere, and the atmosphere was joyous as we all made our way along the trail. Watching the smiles on our guests brought back many memories of how Paul and I must have looked in our first experiences with llamas back when Eileen shared her llamas with us. Joy, Wonder, Curiosity, Caution, Laughter, Smiles and the beating of our hearts as we climbed and maneuvered with these mysterious companions. Paul and I were thrilled to be able to share our llamas with them. Sharing for the love of llamas is a heart expanding experience. A wonderful photo show of this trek is on www.photoshow.net/llamanation ( PHOTOSHOW.NET/LLAMANATION)
Thank you, Ben, Cecelia, John and Jose. Thank you Samantha, Mark and Eileen, for making this a memorable journey.
Happy Trails To You, Until We Meet Again, Deborah and Paul Moen Trekkers for LASC
